natural sinkhole. Montezuma's Well is the place of
emergence of the
Yavapai and Apache peoples. The waters flowing from the Well are holy
and has healing properties, according to the Native American
beliefs. Stand amidst 900 year old ruins and walk in the
footsteps of the ancient ones.
Step back in time as you discover the history of
the ancestors of the Hopi
and the Southwest Pueblo People. The museums
have fine examples of archaeological artifacts, and the way of life of
the ancient ones.
