Native American Guided Grand Canyon Tour

The Grand Canyon’s ever changing moods has left countless speechless, but has also inspired many an artist.
Learn about the formation of The Grand Canyon over the millennia, the first human presence, the white explorers and settlers, and the transformation of The Grand Canyon into a world heritage site.
As we travel up Oak Creek Canyon onto Flagstaff, the San Francisco Peaks loom into view. Traveling through Navajo Reservation, we stop at the Historic Cameron Trading Post, where you may browse/purchase southwestern souvenirs. A brief stop is made at the Little Colorado Gorge, to appreciate a canyon in it's infancy, also the Navajo have arts & craft stalls here, and is a good opportunity to buy Native American handicrafts. Climb up the Watchtower and see the canyon from the East Rim. Various stops are made at different viewpoints along the South Rim, after which you are taken to lunch at one of the restaurants in The Grand Canyon Village.
The famous El Tovar Hotel stands on the rim overlooking the magnificent canyon. The Hopi House, designed by the architect "Mary Coulter", displays beautiful hand-woven rugs and basketry made by Navajo's.
See the Grand Canyon IMAX Show which features footage with a bird's eye view of The Grand Canyon. Learn about the expeditions of the early white men and about the adventures of John Wesley Powell on the mighty Colorado River, and the exploration of The Grand Canyon.

Cost of the tour: $149.00 per adult and $129.00 per child (12 and under) plus tax and gratuity. Includes IMAX theater presentation, lunch and park entry fees.Free beverages and snacks. Four person minimum.
